Like the rudder of a ship, if we learn to use out thoughts wisely, we’ll be guided well through life.
People behave according to how they think; this is as true for executives as it is for teenagers.
We are capable of thinking anything, some of it is hurtful to ourselves and to others. The good news is that thoughts have no meaning. We are the ones who assign meaning to what we think; but our feelings will never fool us: they will tell us if we’re up or down, on track or off-track, if we pay attention then we see how to adjust.
It becomes automatic. Once we benefit from the results, we begin to trust more and more and we become more and more aware of how the Three Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness work within everyone. Syd Banks taught me how to use the Three Principles as a rudder that will guide me though life.
It’s not about believing in anything it’s about witnessing how the Three Principles affect our lives then we have control of our rudder; it all takes place within us. All we have to do is to understand how it works and then pay attention.
