Weekend Retreat with Judy Sedgeman — Event Over

October 12 -21, 2013, in Hartford, CT

Judy Sedgeman

Judy Sedgeman

Join Judy Sedgeman for a gentle exploration of the spiritual Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought and the joy and peace of mind that arise from an ever-deepening understanding of them. Judy has been a facilitator for people looking to find a deeper state of calm and productivity for nearly 30 years. She shares the Principles of Mind, Consciousness and Thought introduced to psychology by the late Sydney Banks. These principles describe the deep logic of the resiliency and innate health that is common to all people. In a retreat setting, you will enjoy the opportunity to reflect and see for yourself how easily we can use our gift of thinking against ourselves, and how quickly we can change. The understanding empowers each individual to live free from distress, regardless of circumstances, to be at their best in facing challenges, and to find joy in everyday living.Download the Flier

Falling in love, again

The weekend of May 19 and 20 when Dr. Jack Pransky, Internationally recognized teacher and author of Somebody Should Have Told Us is available to facilitate with me. In the 18 years that Jack and I have provided training’s and workshops together, we’ve learned what helps people most in their relationships. You can watch a short interview with Jack here   All of our work is based upon the Three Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness — which we will explore throughout the weekend. Since these Principles are universal and not specific to individual cases, you will never be asked to divulge anything that is personal, if you don’t want to. To help maximize your understanding, we will incorporate a variety of ways for you to learn: ~how to bring out the best in yourself and your partner through listening exercises based on reflective questions that are relationship relevant. ~how to access your wisdom and common sense to handle whatever you or your partner may be facing. ~how to navigate through moods — yours and/or your partner’s and understand what they really mean. Sat May 19: 10:00 – 5:00 Sun. May 20: 9:00 – 12:00 Share The cost is: $400 per couple, if you register by May 1 with a non-refundable deposit of $100. After May 1, the cost increases to: $500 per couple. Mail checks to: Lori Carpenos 566 Prospect Avenue Hartford, CT 06105 We will limit the number of couples so that everyone can have ample time. We all learn from one another, through knowledge of the Principles to guide us. This mailing was sent to those of you who signed up at some point for notices. In a week, we will begin to open the retreat up to a larger network. We will meet at a comfortable location in Hartford with ample free parking and outdoor picnic tables that will make our breaks easy and enjoyable. It is rrecommended that you bring your own lunch on Saturday. There is a refrigerator and microwave for your use. Please call Lori @ 860-561-1919 with any questions you have.

A portion of this webinar will be shown this Saturday, Dec. 10 @ 1:00 PM at the Hartford Seminary on 77 Sherman Street in exchange for a donation for Foodshare; all proceeds beyond the cost of renting the room will go to Foodshare. Please join me. Do let me know you are coming and how many people you will bring so I can be certain to have enough chairs. Everyone is welcome to stay after the program to discuss insights that occur to you during the program. The following was copied from our Linked In Group: Psychology of Unlimited Innate Health.

Powering Up

It is my pleasure to invite you to attend a community gathering at the Hartford Seminary, on Sherman Street in Hartford, to lift our spirits after the storm and ensuing days of lost power, with a surge of new power. I am offering a half-hour introductory talk to be followed by the showing of a Sydney Banks video tape defining innate health and how we can access a direct path to our resiliency. We all have some stories to tell from our recent experiences of lost power and fallen trees. The timing of the recent storm provides the opportunity for those watching the video, to use gained insights in order to address and share real life experiences encountered while dealing with the results of the storm. The video format will be followed by a question and answer period and finally, time to share stormy, yet heartfelt stories.

Here is a link to hear Dr. George Pransky and others speaking about what they learned from Syd Banks and how their understanding of the 3 Principles had an enormous impact on their lives.

I sincerely hope that you will be able to join us: Saturday, November 12 at 2:00 PM Feel free to bring snacks for yourself and/or to share. Once the room is paid for, all proceeds will be donated to Food Share.

From seminar evaluations:

Thank you from all of my heart for sharing your insights, experiences, wisdom, time, concern, compassion, listening, understanding, commitment, professionalism, organization and…. thought!
I learned to deep listen to my partner, it made me more empathic.

Please join us on Saturday, September 24, 2011
