Some things to reflect upon…What do you do with your heart?
Do you wall it off to protect it?
Do you open it up to anyone, even those who do not deserve it?
Do you wear it on your sleeve?
Do you share it when it feels right to do so?
What do you do with your mind?
Do you exercise it daily?
Do you honor and protect it?
Do you use it wisely?
Do you waste it, or flaunt it?
What do you do with your thinking?
Do you notice when it’s off track, or on track?
Do you dismiss it when it doesn’t serve you?
Do you play with it and not take it too seriously?
Do you believe it all the time?
I heard that phrase often but never believed it. First I didn’t know what it meant. But then I was exposed to 3 simple, yet profound Principles that explained it to me. People behave according to how they think; this is as true for Executives as it is for teenagers.
We are capable of thinking anything, some of it is hurtful to ourselves and to others. The good news is that thoughts have no meaning. We are the ones who assign meaning to what we think and what others think; but our feelings will never fool us; they will tell us if we’re up or down, on track or off-track, if we pay attention then we see how to adjust.
It’s automatic once we benefit from the results we begin to trust more and more and we become more and more aware of how the Three Principles of Mind, Thought and Consciousness work within everyone. Syd Banks taught me how to use the Three Principles as a rudder that will guide me though life. It’s not about believing in anything it’s about witnessing how the Three Principles affect your life then you have control of your rudder to guide you; it all takes place within us, all we have to do is to understand how it works and then focus on the thoughts that help us and take the focus off thoughts that hurt us.
The happiness in our life depends upon the quality of our thoughts.
