The Three Principles
Step into the Mystery…
What makes us tick? How can we find deeper love and peace of mind? What is the secret to feeling confident, and secure even when the going gets tough?
Throughout time, these questions have beckoned us to ‘Mystery Schools’ - conversations about the spiritual, the invisible, about our essence. This school studies the teachings of Sydney Banks, who was handed the keys to the divine mystery in 1973.
Three Principles
At the heart of what Sydney Banks taught are Three Principles – Mind, Thought, and Consciousness. These Principles are the secret to well-being. They teach us that no thought or experience will last forever. They teach us not to be afraid of our experiences, even the most difficult ones. They teach us how to flow through life, without effort. They point the way to ease, patience, self-understanding, and compassion. The Three Principles have brought hope and relief to thousands of people around the world.
Understand Your True Self

Spiritual wisdom evolves confidence, wellbeing, love, and compassion. This Mystery School is both inspirational and practical. It points the way toward a sense of security, grace, and a light heart…
Syd Banks’ Teachings
We have come together as a community of people who want to go deeper into the experience of peace of mind and mental wellbeing. Some were present at Mr. Banks' talks and continued to listen to the recordings after his passing. Some are new students who wished they could have attended his lectures in person. The next best thing is attending some of his recorded lectures now with the support of others doing the same, from the comfort of your home.

About Our Members
One of the best parts of attending Syd's lectures live, was the community of people helping one another understand what Syd so deeply wanted people to understand when he was alive. We shared insights into how we operate through the 3 Principles of Mind, Thought, and Consciousness, which led us to access innate health and well-being more often. Some of those people participate in our webinars, also learning from the questions of those who are brand new.

Led By A Student of Sydney Banks
I’m Lori Carpenos, one of the first students of Sydney Banks, and a therapist. I stumbled on Syd and the understanding he taught in 1985. That stumble changed my life. I felt down most of the time and cried often. I had a perpetual pit in my stomach, despite having a good job and income, good friends, and a boyfriend. I felt inadequate. Life was a struggle.
Sydney Banks taught me about the Three Principles, the miracle behind the human experience. As I glimpsed at what Syd shared, I became more content and satisfied. I felt relief and a light heart. I can honestly say that it changed the quality of my inner life without anything needing to change on the outside. To me, that’s a miracle. But it is a miracle I have seen in countless others through the years I have been a student and teacher of these divine principles.
I want this to be available for everyone, so if you have any questions regarding Mystery School, email lori@3Principlestherapy.com. I'm happy to help
I so enjoy the Mystery School groups. They have the feel of the meetings we had in Eugene, Oregon in the late 1970’s when we’d listen to a Syd tape, reflect and have a quiet conversation about what we saw. This has been a very special opportunity to deepen our felt connection to and understanding of the Mind. It’s an opportunity for the impersonal and personal to manifest and for us to be authentic and vulnerable.
